Live market newsfeed, data API, and broadcast analytics
Financial media company
A financial media company publishes market news and a daily broadcast for traders, with a paid membership on its own site. They wanted every news source in one live feed, a free account that brings new people in, and a clean way to share the data with partners. We're not naming them here.
What we built
- One live feed from eight groups of sources: press release wires, SEC filings, market data, analyst rating changes, and media and social headlines. Duplicates come out, tickers get tagged, and new items land on open screens as they arrive.
- SEC filings checked every two seconds.
- Headline sentiment in two layers. Plain rules go first. An AI model handles the headlines the rules can't call. Members can vote on every call, and the votes are kept to make it better.
- Tools for the client's own news desk: post a headline, log an analyst call, mark a price level. A post reaches members in under a second and can go to X at the same time.
- Access in four tiers (anonymous, free, paid, and staff) on top of the membership system the client already had. A free account unlocks press releases.
- A data feed other companies can plug into, and a connector so AI assistants can use the same data. Access keys are never stored in plain text.
- One line of HTML that puts the live feed on a partner's website.
- Behind the broadcast: a YouTube analytics pipeline, 30 automated thumbnail A/B tests, Shorts reposted to three platforms, 89 show transcripts mined into 118 short clips, and a 30-metric scorecard built every Monday.

Checked, not assumed
A security review we ran in September 2026 found no critical or high-risk problems. 3,380 server tests and 1,185 client tests passed at the audit.
This is custom software built to fit how the business already works. The broadcast side is AI automation: the analytics, the Shorts reposting, and the weekly scorecard run on a schedule.
